Hand Strength
All hands formed must be legal poker hands.
From top to bottom, here are the possible hands with clarifications on what they consist of:
Royal Flush - this consists of 10/J/Q/K/A of one suit.
Straight Flush – this consists of any 5 consecutive cards of one suit (e.g. 2/3/4/5/6).
Quads – This consists of any 4 of the same value card, of 4 different suits (e.g. Qspades, Qhearts, Qclubs, Qdiamonds).
Full House – not possible as there will always be a better quad hand.
Flush – A flush consists of 5 cards of the same suit. If a Flush is the best possible hand available on a given community card board, you must use the highest 2 cards not present to form the best possible Flush.
Straight – A straight consists of 5 consecutive cards. You must form the best possible straight (higher straights > lower straights, e.g. 2/3/4/5/6 is beaten by 3/4/5/6/7, etc.)
